Major accomplishments include:-Leading successful unit certifications in Strike Warfare and VBSS-Assisting in humanitarian relief efforts in the Philippines for Operation Damayan, after Typhoon Haiyan-Serving as a Liaison Naval Officer in exchange programs, including a two-week cruise on the Japanese destroyer JDS Amagiri (DD-154)-Participating in several bilateral and multilateral naval exercises in the 7th Fleet AOR In addition to Strike Officer, collateral duties include: -Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Funds Custodian (October 2013-May 2015): Managing the ship's welfare fund, budgeting an account that averages $20,000. Major accomplishment includes reforming the budget program from a failure upon assumption of duties as Funds Custodian to perfect 100% accountability on the annual external audit. -MWR Chairman - "Fun Boss"​ (December 2014-Present): Managing the command's MWR program, leading a team of approximately 20 Sailors, and providing welfare-recreation services for approximately 300 Sailors. Major activities coordinated include Command Holiday Parties, Command Picnics, Command Ski Trip, Command Mount Fuji Climb, several Port Visit Tours, weekly entertainment events and more.-Non-Compliant Boarding-Visit Board Search and Seizure (NCB-VBSS) Team Leader and Training Team Coordinator (May 2014-Present): Responsible for the leadership and training of MUSTIN's VBSS Team of 10 Sailors.
