Software Engineer
CurrentDuring my time at EPAM, I have experienced significant professional growth from a junior software engineer to a more experienced developer. Starting with a strong foundation in AWS, the Serverless framework, and Node.js, I actively sought opportunities to enhance my technical skills and take on more responsibilities. Working on a high-impact project for one of the largest automotive companies in the U.S. allowed me to gain practical experience and receive valuable mentorship from senior colleagues.Main responsibilities:- Collaborate in a cross-functional team to develop backend services for a major automotive client with annual revenues exceeding $20 billion- Utilize AWS and the Serverless framework to build scalable, efficient applications- Write unit tests to ensure code quality and maintainability, fostering best practices in software development- Develop and execute Pact tests for consumer-driven contract testing, ensuring seamless integration between microservices- Actively contribute to team discussions and initiatives, demonstrating a strong commitment to teamwork and project success- Monitor application performance and logs using AWS CloudWatch, NewRelic and Splunk addressing issues proactively- Document APIs and services using Swagger and maintain project documentation- Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, refinements and retrospectives
