Operations manager – Field Services and SOE Implementation Support Services – Department of Education Western Australia Account – Kinetic IT Reporting to the Service Director, I was responsible for end to end delivery of Field Services and SOE Support Services. Responsible for the delivery of Server, Desktop and large Network implementations. • Direct management of a group of over 30 very talented direct reports, strategically dispersed at any one time throughout the worlds second largest country-subdivision. Supporting large implementations at Western Australian schools, spread throughout an area of 2.5million square Kilometres. The teams main focus being Safety and delivering world class customer service. • The Field Services team was declared the Western Australian Winner of Customer Service Excellence award – by the Customer Service Institute of Australia. A result of the professional and personable relationships each individual employed onsite while working with senior managers within primary and high schools. • Responsible for delivering HR services to all staff, managing the performance of the staff and teams, managing development plans, enabling teams to ensure a high performance culture. • Managing resourcing requirements based on large project demands. Collaborating constantly with project managers to plan several project implementations. • Managing customer expectations, as well as building a highly effective relationship between the Field Services and DoE Customer Relationship Management teams. • Close engagement, planning and implementation with senior management within schools, project managers and staff. • Responsible for the design, training and operations of these structured technical delivery teams. The teams being highly competent in SOE implementations, including campus rollouts containing large Cisco networks (including wireless systems and controllers), ESX/MS Servers, Win7 and MAC OS desktops and notebooks.
