Onsite and remote programming, network installation, and network maintenance. I have been contracted for projects involving creation and maintenance of Microsoft Hyper-V virtual machine setups. These often involves configuring the network routers, managed switches, and varies network equipment. Projects often included the installation of secure internet access via a VPN. To enhance the security of the network I often advised the use of security keys like the Yubikey.Contract programming often involved modifying existing legacy code to fix a business issue or to add additional features. I have worked on both legacy desktop applications as well websites both internal and public. Currently, I am developing my own web-based framework using .NET Blazor and C# which will seamlessly integrate hardware tokens like the Yubikey as well as software passkeys. Additionally, I am actively working with Rust for projects that require small performance-based applications or services.

My position at VisionMonitor is divided into two roles, Technical Architect and Network Administrator. As the Network Administrator, I am responsible for the creation and maintenance of all the Windows Server 2016 Virtual Machines and the Virtual Host Servers. As the Technical Architect, the majority of my time is spent on developing the web software we lease to clients that tracks safety and performance metrics for various aircraft and airlines. ASP.Net and Orchard CMS are the bases of the software. This is coupled with a the large collection of custom elements and modules developed in C# that round out the software into a complete solution. SQL Server SSRS was used as the initial reporting service, however current development includes Embedded Power BI reports as well.

I accepted a contract position to do maintenance coding on an existing oil rig mud-logging application written in C++. After addressing the issues within the existing application, I began a complete rewrite of the application. The new application would include the ability to completely change the layout and the data displayed on all reports, as well as, the ability to export the data in a variety of formats. For the new application I choose C#.Net and Windows Presentation Foundation as the bases for this application because XAML allows for easy layout changes without affecting the code. While coding I was forced to develop a multi-page printing system to enable the printing of charts and line graphs that exceed one page. This limitation is little known in the .Net framework. However, the new print system became one of the more interesting parts of the project.

During my time at Syntex I was part of a large team expanding and maintaining a Risk Management website sold to Fortune 500 companies. Because of the size and flexibility of the product it was composed of many different modules and computer languages. Most the work I performed was in C#, C++, or VB6. My primary position was to design new business objects and features for the infrastructure to allow additional data communication options with existing client systems. I also assisted in streamlining or performance tuning of the existing business objects. My last project was to unify the complex module installations that are need by our product into a single process that could be easily documented.

My position at Argent was to oversee the AEMS Website and the entire infrastructure of the company both hardware and software. Additionally my position includes designing a new and expanded version of the current environmental compliance website using ASP.NET and C#. This new site will be completely web service driven which will allow for far greater flexibility of data access. Using web services gives both Argent and their client’s access data via a collection of high-level functions without having to know the nuts and bolts of the database. This design frees clients to use either the standard website or if needed a specialized application. The specialized application may be Windows or web based because all of the data is access through web services.

At CommonVision I had two roles, Software Developer and Network Administrator. As the Network Administrator, I was responsible for the operation and maintenance of a Windows 2000 Domain. The Active Directory structure contained multiple web and application servers and 50+ workstations. That being said, the majority of my time was spent either managing or implementing various development projects using various tools and computer languages.
