Synopsis:• Performing manual functional, exploratory & regression testing to software developed via scrum agile methodology within a level 4 TMMI accredited organisation.• Web Application Testing of bespoke in-house built applications used by over 100,000 colleagues across the entire estate of more than 650 stores throughout the country• Artifact documentation - writing Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test Cases & Test Summary Reports to maintain good practiceTesting Categories• Manual Functional Testing front-end GUI applications, from test cases created from the functional requirements detailed in the acceptance criteria documented within user stories. Test Management tools: HP Application Lifecycle Manager, X-Ray, JIRABug Management: JIRA.• Exploratory Testing guided using Charters and time-based sessions, to simultaneously learn the system & uncover bugs not covered by Acceptance Criteria or main functionality.• BDD Testing Writing Gherkin language Feature files & Step Definition files in MS Visual Code for Cypress to run in automated CI/CD pipeline processes.• Smoke Testing tailored suites of tests to target the core elements of the software.• Regression Testing to verify no loss of functionality by new software increments.• Mobile Testing web & native apps on handheld devices to assist in UAT in Sainsburys stores.• Database Testing using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio & Mongo Databases to change & verify data.• Automation Testing using Cypress to create fully automated test packs in the CI/CD pipeline via GitHub Actions Workflows. Writing Page Object model files, Step Definition & Gherkin Feature files. Selenium IDE Chrome extension for creating Linear Scripted regression test packs.• API Testing using Postman• Accessibility Testing using Axe-core in Cypress & Accessibility Insights for Web for manual• Security Testing using OWASP ZAP tool to check elements meet basic security requirements.• Volume & Performance Testing Learning to use K6
