Recruited specifically to undertake the design, build and implementation of an ITV Service Design Process and underlying Service Introduction Process. Responsible for ensuring all projects being run in ITV are delivered with a fully defined, agreed and implemented support model and handed over to BAU with minimal transition incidents.Focussing specifically on Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Availability and Capacity Management I have developed a robust process for our business representatives and project teams to engage with the BAU ‘run’ teams and our outsourced Support Partner (Accenture) to deliver fully functional support models.

The purpose of the role is to provide assurance that key Technology control processes are being applied and maintained with particular focus on disaster recovery plans, identity and access management, supplier attestation, asset and license management and the management of technology risk across our broadcast, online and operational business areas. The role is required to coordinate and manage our third party internal and external auditors (Deloittes and KPMG) to ensure transparency of our processes and any recommendations are validated and implemented where appropriate. Responsible for owning and the key technology policies, including definition, approvals and distribution in the support of effective technology control processes.

Responsible for the design, build and implementation of a service orientated transition process to ensure Operational Service Level Management processes (Specifically Incident, Problem, Change and Release) are built into new project driven developments and enhancements to existing services. The process was required to be based on the ITIL V3 framework and also needed to integrate with the in house Project Management Methodology (SEP) and once implemented it was my responsibility to run the process.
