Green Earth Creations is a Class A contractor focused on the business of new home construction and remodeling using the principles developed by the United States Green Building Council. That is to create a new affordable home model that includes extreme energy efficiency, sustainable building practices and environmentally healthy building products and processes. Our first project is planned to be a new home of approximately 2000 square feet to be built on an infill lot in the south side Tidewater area. The home is designed with energy efficiency in mind throughout; it is moderately sized, windows are placed for maximum energy efficiency, the eaves are deep to keep summer sun off of windows, the attic and crawl space are conditioned, and all mechanical systems are high efficiency for additional energy savings. The main component in this, and all new construction, will be the use of insulated concrete forms to erect the outer shell. This technology has been proven over the last 30 or more years in the extreme weather of the northeast and southwest to provide dramatically higher R-values than traditional stick buildings and can be constructed in the same price range and a slightly shorter time frame as traditional wood frame homes. The end result is a home that is comfortable year round with 40% smaller HVAC systems and a comparable drop in month to month energy costs. Additionally it is wind resistant up to 150 mph, pest resistant, fire resistant, is extremely quiet and has a very tight air envelope. Ultimately, it will be a highly enjoyable home, as well as a sustainable, energy-efficient one.

 Direct a staff of 25-30 officers in all aspects of a 24/7/365 museum security operation, including as many as five off-site locations housing a 1.5 billion dollar art collection. Develop and implemented training curriculum for security and museum staff including security procedures, safety policies and emergency preparedness policy manuals. Under my direction new manuals were written and put in use. Evaluate security operations, both electronic and staffed, and determine long range plans for their use. The security department evolved into a more flexible, cost-efficient part-time staff during my tenure.  Develop and enforce security policy and procedures. Determine financial needs of the department and develop annual budget. Perform project management responsibilities and manage development, planning, and implementation of approximately $1,000,000 contracted security system upgrade plans. I also developed a long term plan to bring all off-site facilities under one fire/safety/security umbrella that reported back to a central station in the museum. Manage the programming and operation of Honeywell access control system, Honeywell fire system, Honeywell Intrusion Detection System, Pelco digital video management system, Best Key patented key system, and Morse-Watchman electronic secure key lockers.
