I like to teach what I call musicianship which is a combination of music theory and technique. Music theory is how chords, scales, melody and harmony works. The other side of that would be technique and having the physic al ability to unlock the music you hear in you're head and bring to your guitar in an effortless manner. You could be a musical genius but with awful technique know one will ever know. I also teach about music equipment guitars, amps and effects as well as basic guitar maintenance. I try to keep my students as motivated as possible with goal setting and having a plan of action to reach there goals with proper practice techniques!
