I have run my own high street pet shop business which gave me a great insight to the many layers of how a business is run. From working on the shop floor to supplier meetings to accounts. I took my diversity and became multi-skilled in a supermarket, working on all departments from opening and closing the till bank to the customer service desk.Moving to being self employed training/walking dogs. Taking my experience from the pet shop to guide my customers on behavioural patterns/diet and general instruction I had amazing outcomes.Being an employment adviser allowed me to use my strength as an empathetic problem solver with excellent interpersonal skills to move many through their personal barriers by signposting and giving them self confidence in their future. This position has also taught me I am well suited to the office environment.
