Leading the overall administration at GBS Malta by overseeing the day-to-day running of the office.. Facilitating communication between academic members and students. Managing a team of visa support officers and collaborating closely with the Central Visa Unit to ensure the most optimal and streamlined visa process for our students.

I have assisted the Head of College Network in the day-to-day managerial duties according to exigencies and as directed by the HCN. My main duties included all school transfers and registrations, School Breakfast Club and School Transport Supervision. Other duties included; inputting staff’s vacation leave on Dakar software, support school’s SMTs with their queries, College publications and preparing and keeping records of minutes and agenda of Council of Heads meetings and assisting the HCN during these meetings. I have also trained two newly recruited Clerks in the office.

I have worked as a Personal Assistant and Executive Officer in an office environment in the education sector for 19 years. During these years I have assisted Heads of Departments with the day to day running of the office and provided administrative support to professionals. I was involved with the coordination and implementation of office procedures and frequently had the responsibility for specific projects and tasks, some of which with very tight deadlines. I have also organised several national and international conferences, all with great success. As part of my job I had to schedule and attend meetings, create agendas and take minutes. I am very efficient in the use of a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Powerpoint and Excel, to produce correspondence and documents and to maintain presentations, records, spreadsheets and databases. As part of my work I used content management systems to maintain and update the departments' websites.
