RAVA Productions is a collaboration between arts industry professionals Ruth Atkinson and Alison Vallette who join forces to produce live theatre readily accessible to audiences in regional and remote Queensland. RAVA Productions works to identify emerging professional artists connected to the Darling Downs area, building opportunities for them to extend their experience and connecting them to industry career pathways.

Curious Arts inc is a nonprofit organisation that produces the annual Curious Arts Festival in March for Toowoomba. The inaugural Festival was held March 2019.

Ruth has decades of experience across both live performance, venue management, developing and touring performing arts and creating television productions. Her career experience began in producing and directing television production and radio programming before segueing to tour coordination, marketing, venue programming and events, producing performing arts and venue management. She has over 25 years in senior management positions.Since December 2008, Ruth has been Director at the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts leading a team that advances and develops Queensland artists and their work, connecting it to audiences locally, nationally and internationally.She is currently Secretary of the Board, Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Valley Liquor Accord and a member of the Fortitude Valley Economic Development Board and is a member of APACA (Australian Performing Arts Centres Association) and NARPACA (Northern Australian Performing Arts Association).
