Irish ArtistRuth Moloney Art Dec 2020 - PresentCounty Dublin, IrelandDublin based contemporary Irish Artist specialising in expressive and vibrant original oil paintings. While I have an extensive and unique range of subject matters, much of my work is inspired by places and scenes of local beauty along Dublin's coastline. I work primarily "alla prima" with thick layers of oil paint using both brushes and the impasto palette knife technique. I have a vibrant use of colour and a loose style which reflects the movement and beauty of my subjects. I also have an extensive range of fine art prints based on my original oil paintings. Each mount is framed and ready to hang.
