Before anything else, I am a friendly and curious person with a desire to know and understand the world and people around me. I have a varied background which I earned through education coupled with practical experience in widely different positions, each one more educational and more rewarding than the last.As an ESL Teacher at Zoni Language Centers, I help students from diverse backgrounds and cultures improve their English language skills and achieve their academic and professional goals. Being from Spain and having a strong pride for my own culture and language, I have strengthened my interpersonal, professional relationships through a deeper understanding of diversity. This experience has been invaluable to my cognizance of different perspectives. This position has helped me to grow my patience and allowed me to use the managerial skills I learned while I was an assistant manager.I studied and completed a Bachelor of Science in Financial Investments from Wilkes University, where I gained a solid foundation in financial analysis, risk management, and portfolio optimization. At the time, I was employed as the assistant manager of a local pet supply group. This store in particular sold live animals, such as puppies, kittens, rabbits and guinea pigs, as well as basic supplies. In this position I was given an incredible opportunity to help individuals, couples, and families find a companion best suited for their lifestyle. General knowledge of individual breeds of animals, as well as specificity in my inquiries ensured that I could create the most compatible matches, keeping in mind the best interest of the animals' wellbeing and future. I have excellent communication, public relations and business skills, which I developed through my previous role at Bayview Entertainment. I was lucky to be employed with this company ever since I was helping out in high school. Through the summers I had spent there in high school and college I had pivoted between nearly every available position, and due to this I grasped the demands and corners of business at a very early age. I believe continuous, daily education to be essential and while I love learning new languages and cultures, I am aiming to learn new skills and abilities as well. I am easygoing, adaptable, and collaborative person dedicated to engaging the people around me and adding value to the time I spend with them. I can't wait to be a part of your team.
