I have worked as an education professional with over twenty years’ experience working within the Further Education sector. I hold ATS (Advanced Teacher Status) status and as well as being an experienced assessor and IQA. Within my time as an Education Manager I have worked as part of a Management Team who was supported the achievement of Ofsted Grade 1 recognition. I have been an active member of a successful PRD Group and the WBL representative on the National Citizenship Advisory Panel. In 2007 I was awarded the QIA national award ‘Outstanding Leadership within Learner Voice’. I was recognised as an industry specialist as part of a national network research team with regards to Employer and Learner Voice and participated as an active research partner. Over the past twelve years I have lead on many successful Citizenship and Leader Voice projects in partnership with the Learning Skills Network (part of LSIS), and had many articles published in Educational Magazines and the LSIS Excellence Gateway regarding Citizenship and Learner Voice.
