Communications lead for Pony Racing Authority (Feb '16-Mar '17), responsible for widening the PR reach to encourage young people aged 9-15 yrs (who may never have sat on a horse) to have a go at pony racing - as a stepping stone into the racing industry or simply as a life-changing experience. Increasing participation through 100 + racing fixtures, the PRA's innovative Youth Training Scheme, Academies and a range of entry level and more advanced training days. Working closely with British Horseracing Authority, Point-to-Point Authority and Pony Club. Client portfolio during this period also included change communications role (Jan '17-May'17) with Warwickshire Police/West Mercia Police alliance's major transformation programme. Also Forest School Learning Initiative, Unicorn Equestrian Trust, Hoxtons Cidersmiths.

Communications lead throughout the organisation's transition to a standalone NHS Trust (April 2013), including establishing new brand identity, website and intranet. Delivering all internal and external communications for the Trust, which manages seven community hospitals and a wide range community-based health and social care services. Leading a small team, my role encompassed media relations (inc social media and crisis PR), multiple websites, intranet, major corporate events, internal communications (inc staff events), stakeholder engagement.

Interim post to lead marketing and student recruitment through period of considerable change before and during merger with Filton College. Role covered media relations (inc social media), corporate website, staff communications, school liaison and student recruitment (inc open evenings, school taster days, targeted campaigns), annual marketing cycle of full-time and part-time prospectuses.
