 Primary project manager on a large-scale systems integration effort to accomplish additions of Optum Care Delivery Organizations (CDOs) to WellMed’s proprietary Risk Adjustment platform as part of a new business model leading to significant company growth.  Led annual software usability project, which achieved the automation of a process affecting data integrity saving over 4000 hours of manual work per year.  Led project expansions in all WellMed markets across Texas and upgrades to risk adjustment software functionality. Project activities included weekly status reports, coordination with all stakeholders to develop timelines, tracking of issues and risks, root cause analysis, and identification of options for resolution. Lessons learned sessions were conducted at the end of each project.

 Interviewed and screened candidates for enterprise-wide process improvement initiatives. Counseled and mentored new hires regarding operations knowledge of assigned areas.  Conducted business process reengineering workshops to align daily clinic operations with enterprise-wide standards and target metrics for increased quality, reduction of cost, and revenue enhancement. Led pilot approach of a clinic process designed to increase successful metric achievement while allowing for better utilization of resources. This approach was adopted and identified as a best practice. Project Lead for continuous improvement efforts for the Greater Texas region responsible for conducting in-depth assessments of clinic processes, coaching and mentoring clinic staff, and establishing metrics to ensure successful implementation of solutions. Conducted complex data analysis of results of the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) implementation initiative.

 Lead position in the Research Department, responsible for strategic development and long-term planning of enhanced services to facilitate the organization’s transition to a national level. Led planning and execution of a successful large-scale Peer Networking Summit for AVANCE’s new national partners.  Implemented a new data collection system to provide enhanced outcomes and reports in a more timely, effective manner. Wrote a Request for Proposal (RFP) to identify potential partners for a nationwide expansion/research project and created criteria for objective evaluation.
