Manage a growing payroll bureau team providing client payrolls and auto enrolment services to small and medium sized businesses

•Build and implement new processes necessary during the course of any project to ensure IBM are fully tax compliant. Network within organisation to find alternative solutions to ensure greater accuracy.•Ensure all work is fully auditable, keeping to strict controls deadlines and excellent attention to detail.•Responsible for the collation of all necessary information for Acquistions, ensuring payments are made for any tax equalisation necessary enabling a smooth transition from previous company’s systems to IBM. Great attention to detail to ensure accurate accounting.•Review of assignee medical benefit process to improve reporting to HMRC and internal clients•Build process and tracking of business visitors to improve HMRC reporting and tax compliance. •Communicating the new process to management and gaining business controls sign off.

•Managing 5 staff in payroll, expenses and accounts payable teams. Ensuring accuracy to the completion of data integration - Lotus to IBM for each function. Managing motivation of staff during integration.•Authorising Expenses and Accounts Payable runs. Reviewing the monthly payroll.•Dealing with any payroll system problems and liaising with software provider•Liaising with pension provider – to include funds, transfers, joiners, leavers and integration issues. •Running and distributing monthly reports for private health care provider, club subscriptions, and management teams. Checking accuracy prior to distribution.•Liasing with IBM integration teams for merger of payroll, expenses, accounts payable, pensions and other benefits and P11d information. Testing pay elements to ensure accurate calculation as per contracts.•Liaison with tax providers for assignees tax calculations•Finalising official closure of payroll with statutory authorities

•Fully managing the payroll and commissions team with 3 staff including staff development•Manage installation of new software systems and implement flexible benefits on the new systems•Liaising with IBM team for integration of payroll to IBM systems•Finalising official closure of payroll with statutory authorities•Annually exceeded appraisal targets and all departmental deadlines•Liaising with HR in all areas of pay and benefits•Setting up new assignees payroll with advise from external tax providers•Full running of company payroll including reconciliations and payments to necessary 3rd parties
