Ruth Gallagher founded Creative Sound in 2021 so that she could share her passion for music and music education with delegates and teams so that they could experience the power that singing and performing together brings. Ruth designs and delivers dynamic and interactive musical workshops for conference and event organizers who want an empowering and exciting experience for their delegates. Our workshops will have your group laughing & interacting through group singing and body percussion and movement, while developing multiple skills and having fun!Discover the power of your voice in a new creative way while establishing important connections with fellow delegates.Originally from Donegal and now living in the South East, Ruth is an experienced classical soprano and vocal tutor with a demonstrated history of working in the music performance and education industry. Skilled in voice, choral, piano, event management, editing, and creative writing. Strong education professional with a Master of Arts (MA) in music performance with dissertation from Waterford Institute of Technology. Work in Public Relations and Social Media Marketing led Ruth to return to education in 2020 to complete a course in Marketing Communications with CMIT, and a Digital Marketing course with The Open College, Ireland.Ruth teaches 1-2-1 piano and vocal lessons at County Wexford School of Music, where she also directs the Music Makers programme and the adult choir, and is choral director to two other choirs in Wexford.

My students range from children to adults - those taking exams have a choice of two examining boards, RIAM or ABRSM. There are various competitions and performance opportunities for all students throughout the school year with some exciting collaborations with fellow CWSM music students!
