I am responsible for the scoping, estimating, proposal writing and delivery of internal and external projects, ranging from £10K to £600K and I currently look after a portfolio of approximately £3.5million. I ensure projects are delivered to time, cost and quality; given demanding timescales.I am regularly tasked with organising large events within the company for internal and external customers. A notable success was when I organised a directorate away day for approximately 400 delegates. Additionally, I have organised multiple rig hall visits for various customers to enable knowledge share between companies.I am in constant dialogue with technical leads to ensure that the project is being delivered to the correct specification, while managing the customers’ expectations. I ensure that the technical leads are able to achieve excellent results in realistic timescales and ensure that different parts of the business (e.g. technical/process/procurement/finance/etc.) are working together to achieve the deliverable dates.Through regular meetings with customers, I ensure that they are kept up-to-date with the progress of the projects and when the scope of work is required to be changed due to the research and development nature of the work, I submit change controls to the customer.I manage the process resource (approximately 20 people) in my facility, enabling all work to be completed each week and rescheduling work where necessary based on business need.I work to meet NNL’s business targets, ensuring the sales funnel and CPI/SPI sheets are up to date and striving to meet the early deliverable dates.I am currently developing my Microsoft Project skills to enhance the tight controls of my programmes that I have already put in place. This ensures the tracking of cost and progress of the work.

I ran my own business, helping customers choose products and delivering the items to them. As a Sales Leader I also signed up new Avon representatives and helped them to build their own business and client base. I managed my accounts and used Facebook and flyers to advertise for new customers and representatives.

I worked as the only assistant for a large Nuclear Engineering research team (Nuclear Graphite Research Group - NGRG) consisting of University staff and PhD students. I used Excel to re-analyze data from previous papers and reports. I scanned in scientific documents and created a database using Microsoft Access to enable documents to be found and accessed more easily. I used Microsoft PowerPoint to present results from scientific analyses. I also took phone calls when necessary and managed a diary for the group leader of the NGRG group.
