My practice focuses upon complex litigation. I have experience representing clients in class actions, breach of contract and licensing disputes, copyright and trademark matters and bankruptcy litigation.I serve as an advocate for clients in trial and appellate courts both at the state and federal level, as well as in the arbitration and mediation of disputes. I have argued before the Sixth Circuit and have first-and second-chaired cases in both state and federal courts. Significantly, I worked on a team which was successful in convincing the Ohio Supreme Court to de-certify a class action. In connection with BakerHostetler’s role as court-appointed counsel to the Securities Investor Protection Act (SIPA) Trustee for the liquidation of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC, I have been involved with numerous adversary proceedings to recover fraudulent transfers from feeder fund defendants for the fund of customer property.
