Developed and maintained a client-specific instance of one of CodeMettle’s core software products. Primarily coded in Jython (Python for Java). My role is customer facing insuring all client requirements are implemented properly. Monitored client system and performed system upgrades, restarts, troubleshooting and configuration modifications. Participated in bi-weekly client scrums, providing project updates.

Worked in research and development to exploit latest technologies, utilizing Java and Android development with eclipse. Modifyied applications to demonstrate device convergence, including tablets, smart phones, internet, and cable.

Worked on enhancements and small projects. Migrated internal application to Visual Studio 8 and completed other projects programming in C#, SQL, ASP.NET, HTML. Implemented new functionality by integrating third-party software (FedEx Integrator and QuickBooks Integrator) with .NET.

Maintained loyalty reward program systems, both internal and external/client systems. Assisted in creation of an ‘entity’ format for setting user-defined properties. Built custom applications using PowerBuilder, Java, JSP, Javascript, and Python. Built an import process using Python, for clients to import data. Received numerous awards for my contributions developing complex applications on time with high quality. Was recognized for my strong work ethic, teamwork and flexibility.

Worked with users directly through the entire software development life cycle. Maintained telecom and credit card systems, and provided technical mentoring to other programmer/analysts within GE. Developed and maintained custom applications, utilizing PowerBuilder and PL/SQL. Designed and created Oracle database objects, including tables, roles, packages, procedures, functions, and triggers. Created Shell and Perl scripts to transfer files using FTP protocol, and to execute Oracle database loads using SQL-Loader. Utilized Java struts framework, Javascript, JSP, HTML, and PL/SQL to develop intranet applications to support credit card operations. Designed and built Visual Basic applications, which use HLLAPI to access a Mainframe, to process credit card data.

Worked in a team environment and was personally responsible for developing critical parts of a Cellular Phone Maintenance System, a Purchase Order System and an Inventory System. All systems were developed using PowerBuilder 6.0 with Transact SQL to access a Sybase database. Created several stored procedures and utilized PowerBuilder Foundation Classes.

Responsibilities included calculating cash receipts, vouching purchase orders, generating account payable checks. Maintained attendance records, coordinated insurance claims, processed service invoices, and assisted with job costing. Worked full-time at Fowler Products while attending classes in order to finance education.
