I have well developed skills in project management, ranging from small ($10,000) to medium ($60,000) sized projects, where I've been responsible for budgeting, staffing, implementing field assessment and preparing ecological reports. Examples of recent projects include: Broad scale vegetation mapping in areas of custodial land managed by HVP in Shelley and Benalla; Threatened Species Management Plan for Mount Bullfight Nature Conservation Reserve; Conservation Management Plans for threatened fauna species (Botanic Ridge, Cardinia and Gum Scrub Creeks); Urban Wildlife Management Plan for the City of Yarra; Post-fire targeted fauna surveys for the Broad-toothed Rat and Eastern Pygmy Possum; and Annual monitoring for the EPBC-listed Growling Grass Frog at the Western Treatment Plant, Melbourne. I was employed for one year as a Zoologist in the Ballarat office of Biosis Research where I developed a broad level of technical zoological skills and experience in field survey for fauna. This position gave me an opportunity to be involved in a variety of targeted fauna surveys including EPBC-listed Growling Grass Frog, Striped Legless Lizard and Golden Sun Moth and also FFG-listed Powerful Owl.

As a technical assistant in the Melbourne office of Biosis Research I provided both administrative and technical support to a range of staff members, including zoologists, botanists and archaeologists. My main responsibilities included but were not restricted to: equipment organisation, purchase and maintenance; management of staff records for vaccinations and first aid certificates; library purchasing and organisation; and field assistance in botanical and zoological based projects.
