With an Oxford degree and a Cambridge PhD in Geology, 10 years of project management experience in the City and 20 years in garden design, I aim to bring real world experience as well as design flair and and in depth practical knowledge of the wide range of challenges major landscaping projects can throw at you! I head up a team of highly artistic garden design and commercial landscape specialists, who transform outside space by inspiring, creating and nurturing, for private and commercial owners and architects.CGLA are a multiple RHS Gold Medal winning team with over 20 years of experience of providing full Garden, Estate and Commercial Design, Project Management, Construction and Maintenance.We have a world class design team headed by Eike Selby (ex Partner at Martha Schwartz and Partners) and includes Garden Designers, Landscape Architects and Professional Horticulturalists, to allow us to cover an unrivalled range of project types and sizes- from larger schemes for private estates or new build homes through to prestigious domestic gardens and commercial landscapes. Our in-house landscaping team are led by full time dedicated project managers, experiences site managers and in-house costing and sourcing teams.We can assist with pretty much all external design - well used to working with larger teams of architects and related advisors on new builds and major refurbs, we are equally at home working directly to client on more local design or landscaping. We can assist with discharge of planning conditions, planning applications and offer the full range of 3D CAD design and construction/tender issue drawings as well as cost planning and value-engineering, sourcing and installation of all planting/soft landscaping, and full turnkey construction.
