- Responsible for managing and growing the portfolio of employer/industry relationships and partnerships to build BBS Career's reputation in the market, including vast business development work and complex account management.- To improve the career-readiness of BBS students and graduates, with a specialism in managing the demands of the 'Year in Industry' placement programme for undergraduates.- Work with external and internal stakeholders with the aim to identify their recruitment needs and employment trends.- Identify and consult on the best value propositions to meet employer needs, and as a result develop new initiatives to ensure BBS Careers stay ahead of industry trends e.g. specialism in AI recruitment tools.- Target employers within specific sectors to increase presence on campus, identify job opportunities for students and graduates, working to develop their brand on campus and increase student's ability to build professional relationships whilst studying.- Heavily involved in the ED&I space, ensuring underrepresented student groups have equal access and working proactively with companies to develop ED&I related KPIs.

Alongside my current role, I took on the role of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Co-Lead for the College of Social Sciences at the University of Birmingham.- Work alongside colleagues to develop the College's ED&I strategy with collaboration across the university, ensuring the strategy aligns with the broader University strategy and initiatives. - Determine immediate actions and their deliver across the College- Collaboratively develop an effective communications and engagement plan for ED&I

- The Birmingham Business School (BBS) Student Impact Awards recognise and showcase the remarkable accomplishments and exceptional contributions of students.- Recurring event and celebration provides a platform to spotlight the impact of both current students and alumni throughout their journey at Birmingham Business School.

- Responsible for building corporate relationships to generate opportunities and would also act in an advisory capacity to employers in the professional services.- Strong ability to work to ambitious individual and team KPIs in a fast-paced environment.

- Processing and payment of manual and electronic invoices in the Community Care Finance team: scheduling payment and liaising with providers and service users. - Proficient at handling large quantities of data and spreadsheets.- Worked with the Debts team, dealing with enquires, negotiating between teams and being responsible for a vast amount of data. Developed strong skills in Excel (both coding and managing data), Oracle Applications, Controcc and Protocol.- Was offered work after placement ended, working several shifts a month to maintain my role in the team.
