•Administer firm-wide benefits including medical, dental, life insurance, disability, 401 K and flexible spending accounts.•Manage all aspects of federal and state FMLA leaves, including employee communications. Primary contact for coordinating employee Disability and Workers Compensation claims. •Act as liaison between employees and insurance carriers to clarify benefits and assist with claims resolution.•Prepare performance and other ER related documentation; follow-up with management as needed and participate in employee meetings.•Worked closely with Payroll Administrator for payroll updates, wage adjustments, deductions, and garnishments, leaves of absence, benefit enrollment changes and employment status changes. •Advise and coach Partners and Team Leaders on the firm’s policies and HR best practices regarding employee matters. •Investigate, document and respond to employee complaints, harassment and discrimination allegations with the assistance of the HR Director. •Conduct employment verifications, phone screenings and interviews. •Provide full cycle recruitment support as needed.•Developed and coordinated annual professional development and training event for entry- level engineers, co-ops and interns. •Maintain HR Department/Compliance Calendar and ensures timely completion of HR deliverables and ERISA related compliance filings/reports; includes conducting annual 1095 review as well as coordinating and filing annual 5500 reports and SAR (Summary Annual Reports).
