I set up and led a team of specialist OTs, providing specialist trauma informed, sensory processing assessments and Delivered sensory attachment intervention with families. In addition I prepared and delivered training for schools and other agencies to highlight the sensory processing and motor skills needs of children who have a background of trauma.

I set up and developed Optima Therapy ltd, which became a team of 3 therapists, OT assistant and administrator by the end of 2016. The company's goal was to help children reach their full potential and we served individuals, schools and adoption support agencies across the South East. During this time I set up an OT service in 2 schools and worked closely with adoption agencies, providing services to PAC and PACT among others. We also began to work closely with Beacon House and our little team then became an integral part of the team there and established the OT service within the service. I had the privilege of growing the OT service, contributing to resources and training within this strong multi-disciplinary team.

Specialist Occupational Therapy service for the Fostering and Adoption Consultative Therapeutic Support: FACTS, team. I carried out assessment, advice and ongoing therapy where families had children who present with sensory and attachment difficulties.

Carrying out assessments and regular therapy to children of all ages, nationalities, with varying conditions and levels of functional difficulties. I often carried out assessments for SEN tribunals.

Carrying out school based assessments and treatment with children who have autism and epilepsy in a multi disciplinary team. For some of this time I worked in a rehab team with children who had undergone hemispherectomy surgery. (Part time locum work)

I worked as a band 7 therapist, at a special school for children with moderate learning difficulties as well as covering some work at the Dolphin Child Development Centre.

I worked as a band 6 OT carrying out multi- disciplinary assessments as well as providing cover to a special school with moderate and severe learning difficulties. I gained extensive experience with children with a wide variety of conditions.
