Neuroscience PhD holder from the University of Manchester actively seeking a new role in science communication and clinical research. Over the past 7 years I have curated a diverse clinical research portfolio in the UK and New Zealand, focused on unraveling the immunology of stroke and metabolic diseases. These roles have helped me hone skills in project management, experimental design & SOP development, bioinformatics, data management, and good clinical practice. Being an effective science communicator has been integral in nurturing partnerships with key industry leaders, researchers and healthcare professionals. In collaboration with others I have contributed to 6 scientific papers, and authored market reports for the pharmaceutical industry in drug development and AI. I pride myself on my ability to distill complex scientific data into informative presentations, which I’ve taken to national and international conferences. A key motivation for my future work is to improve the translatability of clinical research into local communities. I truly believe effective change brought about at the population level can start through small meaningful impacts, locally.
