I am a highly resilient, reflective, detail driven educator, leader and proud business owner of Elevate Virtual Assistant Services. I have 26yrs experience in both the independent and state school sectors, working alongside a variety of UK Local Authorities, external stakeholders and DfE projects. I am proud to have achieved a high scoring NPQH and a BA Hons QTS in Professional Primary Teaching, specialising in Early Years and Primary education. My passion for improving outcomes for disadvantaged communities has shaped my career path. I hold 17yrs of educational leadership in both the private and state school sectors, plus two Headship secondments. 7yrs of leadership at an independent girls school and 10yrs of leadership at a large state school with high deprivation indicators. The latter enabled me to carve out my role as Pupil Premium Lead, using evidence based research in Oracy, Phonics, Reading, PSHE and SEND, to bring about swift impact for disadvantaged learners. I have spoken publicly at the 2022 National Voice 21 Conference in London (200+ delegates) about the positive impact of Oracy on disadvantaged learners. I became a V21 Spotlight School for three years running and was published in the 22-23 V21 Impact Report, highlighting my successful leadership of Oracy.I pride myself on the relationships I build with internal and external stakeholders. I hold excellent intrapersonal skills and work with inclusivity, thoughtfulness and empathy. I love to grow leaders and am an active coach in Rosenshines Principles, plus, the Heart - Head - Step coaching method. I am an experienced mentor for NPQs and ECT's. I am pragmatic, friendly and engaging in my approach. I work efficiently and to the best of my ability in all that I do. Travel and International work has always appealed. I have been fortunate to have lived, studied and worked in Australia, plus a number of UK cities. I'm naturally creative and very much enjoy Art, Design, Hairdressing and Dressmaking. I hold level 1 CACHE certificates in both Ceramics and Dressmaking, plus a Level 2 City & Guilds in Hairdressing. I maintain good mental and physical health through practising Yoga and personal coaching, weekly.
