My role at ads creative solutions involves designing an array of bespoke visual content for a variety of different clients, from creating appealing restaurant menus to eye-catching brochures. It's my responsibility to liaise directly with clients to discuss mock-ups, proofs and amendments.Throughout my role, I have worked on numerous successful brochures & magazines, corporate identity, marketing material, exhibition & point of sale projects.

After leaving Cooneybains in December 2005, I took a year's maternity leave after giving birth to my daughter.Starting in January 2007, I began my career in freelance graphic design where I created adverts, brochures, posters, POS and signage amongst other visual content for my clients.

Wantage

I was responsible for a team of three but also carried on with my day-to-day duties. Projects ranging from adverts, brochures & leaflets. I co-ordinated the work in the studio and liaised with the account handlers to schedule the workload for the week.

Chesham

Creative Artworker/Designer for a growing design company. My main role consisted of working in close contact with the head designer and account handlers. I worked on a wide variety of projects including, brochures, folders, leaflets, posters, packaging and exhibition panels to complete campaigns for the medical industry. I liaised directly with the clients, faxing proofs, creating colour mock-ups and preparing artwork for print.

Middlesex

A member of a small team in a repro company producing high-quality work within tight deadlines. I worked on various projects including greeting cards for Marks & Spencer and Gordon Fraser, packaging, brochures and leaflets. I was also involved in producing a 250-page book, liaising with the customer, making amendments, retouching scans and overseeing film output to produce a high-quality final piece of work. A large amount of photoshop retouching and photoshop montage work was also part of my role.Within my period at Graphic Techniques, I fulfilled an ambition of mine and took some time out to travel through Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia. I returned to Graphic Techniques after a year and continued my employment.

Working with another designer, a substantial part of my work involved producing various brochures, a monthly brochure of which I designed and handled entirely on my own under strict deadlines. As well as my main design duties my role also included answering the telephone, liaising with customers, faxing proofs, organising scans/bikes, overseeing film output, liaising with production and organising print.

Park Royal, London

Originally recruited by Peterhurst as a planner/platemaker, my work consisted of general darkroom techniques such as bromides, negative making and four colour process negative and positive plates. After a year and a half, I progressed onto the Macs where I proved to be an invaluable member of the department.
