CurrentDesign, implement and deliver a volunteer strategy for the Volunteer Vaccination Project.Develop and deliver an action plan for each vaccination site, accounting for their unique requirements. Lead on the promotion and development of Volunteer’s Week events for Vaccination and Test Site volunteers, ensuring all are able to participate and are recognised for the contribution they make. Contribute to Volunteers Awards Week, designing and delivering activities, nominating volunteers, championing their achievements. Promote the Vaccination Programme, engaging with local communities, community leaders, local media to drive delivery on success of vaccination project.Lead on the recruitment and ongoing support of over 400 volunteers, ensuring diversity through community engagement and accessibility through flexibility.Provide easily accessible support to all volunteers, resolving issues as they arise. Support vaccination site management in the development of policies, procedures championing and exemplifying compassionate leadership and CAVA values.Recruit, induct, and line manage Vaccination Project Team.Engage, involve and empower the team in problem-solving, resilience, flexibility, moving at pace. Development relationships of trust with NHS Directorate, GPs, local healthcare providers.Ensure that under-represented groups have access to WCAVA services through proactive recruitment and adaptable operations.
