She is based in South West London. After attaining a string of excellent, academic qualifications (topped by a 2/1 Honours Degree from Southampton University in English and Philosophy) Ruth decided to pursue her ambition of becoming a fashion photographer. She completed an internship with celebrated, fashion photographer, Elisabeth Hoff, during which she assisted her on prestigious photo shoots for high end fashion magazines. She then worked at Skin Studios in Kensington on shoots for a range of clients.Having been involved in the workings of the photographic industry at the top end of the spectrum and feeling truly inspired, she launched her own career. Since doing so, Ruth has had considerable success. The highlights of her career so far include:Organising a shoot where she photographed girlband Lola from hit tv show The Only Way Is Essex.Photographing the cast of Coronation Street as they had their make up done backstage at the National Television Awards.Organising and shooting a ‘Grunge and Glamour’ shoot for Rock ‘N Rose’s Autumn/Winter Collection on a beach in Puerto Banus, Spain.Photographing some of the Britain's Next Top Model finalists on a dark and urban themed shoot.Being televised as photographer on Austria's Next Top Model when two of the finalists were flown over for an Amplified Clothing Lookbook shoot in London.
