As a Spanish teacher and team lead at The Montessori School of Raleigh, I have been teaching comprehensible input Spanish courses to grades 7-10 and leading the middle school team for over four years. I also teach the yearbook course and provide an adolescent Montessori program that fosters the development of the whole child.With a master's degree in Spanish language and literature from Trinity College Dublin and 10 years of classroom experience, I have a strong background in the Spanish language and culture, as well as a deep understanding of the best practices and pedagogy for language teaching and learning. I am passionate about helping my students and colleagues to develop their talents and become successful in their endeavors. I enjoy interacting with people from diverse backgrounds and perspectives, and I love to travel and learn about new cultures and ideas. One of my proudest achievements was promoting and leading a student trip to Spain in 2022, which was a rewarding and enriching experience for everyone involved.
