I was involved with the ISO 9001 quality certification, including internal audits, annual external audit, preparation of reports and taking minutes of meetings. I oversaw the transition to ISO 9001:2015, as well as two separate transfers of the Quality Management System to two different certification providers. I handled all translation-related client feedback and complaints. I trained all users of the client feedback application in KestrelPro.I was responsible for monitoring and spot checking the work carried out by the administrative teams and the Production teams.

I was responsible for the recruitment, training and monitoring of the company’s team of 65 proofreaders.

I dealt with all administration to ensure that the company’s Quality Management System was maintained in accordance with ISO 9001.I was responsible for all issues relating to the company’s team of 40 in-house proofreaders and 25 home workers, e.g. quality and productivity.I provided regular cover (2 days per week) for the manager of a department of 4 staff in the ETF (European Translation and Filing) Department.

I liaised with new and existing clients in Germany and Scandinavia. I sorted and forwarded incoming translation work to Head Office for processing. Extensive communication with clients and Translation Head Office.I organised material for exhibitions and trade fairs.I maintained the Wincard database. I covered the Director’s responsibilities in his absence.I was also Deputy Quality Manager for ISO Quality Management System.
