I cannot think of a better career than helping people to turn their dreams into reality and realise their potential in their own careers. Having no special talents of my own, (except singing lullaby's to my daughter at bedtime) I have found my calling in life; to seek out the talents of others and find them a decent career within a business that truly value their employees. With the cost of living crisis, in a post covid world, the market in construction is still busy however there is still this race to the bottom mentality with very tight programmes and margins. This is handed down the supply chain putting significant risk on subcontractors. The need for expertise within the recruitment sector has never been greater, especially within Preconstruction and Commercial disciplines. Having worked in construction recruitment for 15 years, I have managed to create a niche for myself in the world of subcontracting. Focusing on interiors and facades, my recruitment is concentrated (but not limited to) Estimators and Quantity Surveyors at all levels.I am well networked within ceilings, partitions, CAT A & B Fit Out as well as complete building envelope contractors. Think of me as a subcontracting expert, inside and out. I do take my role as a Recruiter very seriously. I am dealing with people’s lives and I believe our job roles should be the heart of everything we do, it defines us as humans, particularly within construction as it shapes the world in which we live.
