Ruth Molina is the director of the New England Higher Education Recruitment Consortium (NE HERC). The Higher Education Recruitment Consortium (HERC) is a non-profit organization connecting talented professionals with the best employers in higher education and helping to advance institutional practices that support diversity, equity, inclusion, and dual-career couples. Regionally, Ruth leads the NE HERC, which is made of approximately 60 members in the New England region and oversees membership development, member events, partnerships, and technology and vendor relationships. Ruth is also responsible for the planning, organizing, and execution of New England HERC’s Annual Diversity Conference, which highlights best practices in the recruitment and retention of diverse faculty and staff, and has featured highly regarded speakers such as Freeman Hrabowski, Iris Bohnet, Daryl G. Smith, Caroline Sotello-Viernes Turner and other prominent regional and national speakers. Previously, she worked as the Recruitment Manager at Bridgewater State University, where she managed faculty and staff recruitment. She was also responsible for advertising positions, expanding diversity initiatives, implementing technological advances and fostering vendor relationships. In the past, Ruth has worked in Admissions at both the undergraduate and graduate level and has taught Photography as an Adjunct Faculty at the Art Institute of Boston/Lesley University. Ruth was HERC's Governance Board Chair from 2021-2023. She currently serves in HERC's Governance Board and HERC's Advisory Board, and volunteers in a number of HERC committees. She also serves as an Advisory Member to the Business Council for Work Without Limits (WWL) and the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) and is a volunteer at the New England Association for Colombian Children (NEACOL) . She is also an alumna of The Partnership, Inc., Next Generation Executive (NGE) Program. Ruth holds an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership (Higher Education) from Bridgewater State University, a B.F.A. from the Art Institute of Boston/Lesley University.
