This included environmental analysis, extensive stakeholder communication (internal and external) using diverse media and am currently developing the five year strategy, including stakeholder consultation and engagement, environmental analysis and key performance indicators. Office ManagementI also managed the Executive Office, managing an administration and projects team, and ensuring appropriate services for the Directorate and key committees.In addition I set up a research ethics policy and process for the College, conducted a College-wide review of social responsibility, assisted with the development of the College website and other communications initiatives, and led on the development of the Social Media for Staff Policy and the College Twitter presence. I joined IPEM as its first non-member Trustee, going on to be Chair and then a member of the Communications Committee.

I managed marketing activity for the UKRC, including publications, the website, the blog, twitter, FaceBook and more, moving from marketing manager to head of engagement and marketing in 2011. The UKRC worked to advance gender equality in science, engineering and technology. The client base includes government, businesses, public and third sector organisations, higher and further education institutions and individual women at all career stages.
