Driven by a deep commitment to addressing healthcare needs, I am a Health Science student at Spelman College with a passion for improving the well-being of others. Growing up as a child of an immigrant family, I’ve come to understand the importance of resilience, community, advocacy, and access to essential resources—values that have fueled my interest in healthcare and public service.Through my academic and professional experiences, including shadowing a family medicine doctor, hands-on clinical medical assistant training, mentoring middle school students with Raising Expectations Inc., serving on the event committee for Sister n Sync, and taking on leadership roles in organizations like The Braven Accelerator, I’ve built the skills that will prepare me for a career in healthcare.I am dedicated to pursuing a future in healthcare with a focus on public health and mental well-being, where I can bridge gaps in care and advocate for underrepresented voices. Let’s connect if you’re interested in healthcare, mentorship, or creating a more just and healthy world.
