With over a decade of experience in education, I am passionate about empowering educators to create inclusive classrooms that meet the diverse needs of all students. As a Certified Professional Learning Specialist, I work closely with educators to equip them with the skills and strategies necessary for fostering academic excellence and equity in the classroom. I focus on providing actionable professional development, leveraging my deep understanding of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), special education, and standards-based curriculum development to support teachers in creating an environment where every student can succeed.My career spans a variety of roles, including serving as an Special Education Teacher, where I provided guidance on implementing effective instructional strategies, integrating educational technology, and ensuring alignment with both state standards and individualized education plans (IEPs). At the NYC Department of Education, I developed and implemented IEPs and supported diverse learners in both inclusive and self-contained settings. I also led grade team meetings, where I drove curriculum planning, collaborated with colleagues, and provided targeted coaching to improve instructional practices across the school community.As an Education Consultant, I continue to focus on driving systemic change in education by building strong relationships with schools and districts, and supporting educators in achieving their goals. Whether supporting teachers with new curriculum adoption, introducing evidence-based strategies, or fostering collaboration, I am committed to helping educators enhance their practice and ensure that every student has access to high-quality learning experiences. My work is always grounded in the belief that every educator has the potential to inspire and create positive change for their students, and I am dedicated to making that a reality.
