I joined HelmsBriscoe as Associate Regional Vice President for London and the South East of the UK, in 2015. In this role I offer leadership, direction, support & development for Associates within the team. I am also responsible for the recruitment and growth of the team in general. I am interested in helping people find a good work-life blend while achieving the freedom, flexibility and income that suits their circumstances.The leadership I give supports entrepreneurial people, helping direct and guide them them to so they can grow their own business within HelmsBriscoe. It is also there to ensure strong links remain with our core base of venues that our clients use and that our brand strength is maximised.My career in Event management first started with positions in Ireland and led on to the UK & other European and Latin American countries, giving me valuable international experience. I obtained a BSc in Business Information Technology from Westminster University London & worked for Congrex Venezuela followed by Concorde Services in London. I went on to co-create Shocklogic, a technology company servicing the Events market. I later worked at leadership level for a the Congrex Group, a Global Conference Management and Association Management Company & went on to acquire the UK & Panama companies.In addition to my HelmsBriscoe role I am currently a Director and equity partner supporting the ongoing development of an Event & Association Management Company in Latin America (Congrex Americas). Creating opportunities for communication, collaboration, education & growth are my main driving forces and are the ethos that I make my business decisions by.
