I have helped many clients through claims and take pride in making this process as quick and simple as possible. It is important that my clients both feel protected and supported should they need to call on their insurances. I welcome face to face meetings with all my clients.I regularly meet with insurance companies to discuss individual cases and the performance of our accounts as a whole. It is important to build and maintain relationships with our insurer partners for the benefit of all parties.I take pride in encouraging the development of my direct reports. Professional competency has significant importance in the insurance industry and I strive to ensure all staff are assisted towards professional qualifications. I manage a team of 3 account handlers and am charged with developing them to be future account executives and business leaders. I adopt a coaching style with my direct reports to enable freedom to bring energy and new ideas to the company.I was also formerly our company Training and Competence Coordinator, as well as the FCA compliance officer. The latter included responsibility for implementing, monitoring, recording and reviewing our internal processes; ranging from staff training, data protection, treating customers fairly, preparing KPI reports and reporting to our boardI am one of 8 chosen brokers to form the 2013/14 CII New Generation Group and am currently undertaking a project to investigate the future of liability insurance in the care sector, with involvement from relevant industry stakeholders.
