Facilitated and guided development on the Eclipse OMR project, as committer and code owner for the garbage collection, threading, and portability components.Drove advancements in the OpenJ9 JVM by designing, reviewing, or implementing hundreds of code changes in OMR.Designed new APIs for advanced GC features such as concurrent scanning, scavenging, and heap compaction.Created Om, a library providing a general object model that meets the needs of both static and dynamically typed languages, which language designers can use to implement their own language-specific object semantics.Worked with academic researchers to develop new technologies and tooling, such as cold object storage, GC-driven object serialization, and variant aware static analysis tools.
