Lead team in planning, scheduling, directing, and coordinating the manufacturing operations for a production, fabrication, inventory, and shipping department in two shifts.• Manage and supervise up to 15 direct reports including 130 indirect reports.• Lead and execute cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, equipment, tools, and processes.• Champion safety at plant and corporate level to develop, implement, and maintain safety objectives and programs.• Collaborate with other managers and with other departments to maintain alignment of corporate objectives.• Active performance management and review.• Meet or exceed client delivery schedules.

Lead engineering group by providing strategic direction, integration of technical processes, and planning to meet schedules and goals for operations and clients.• Support designers to enable the design and development of products from customer specifications, while working with shop personnel, methods, and tools necessary to bring products to life while ensuring production procedures are efficiently utilized.• Coordinate, direct, and develop staff of 5-8 professional and technical CAD designers.• Direct, review, and approve product design and revisions.• Establish good working relationships with plant staff and department heads to ensure projects are constructed as intended and to ultimately improve the engineered solutions.
