During Ryan's time at Tech Launch Arizona, I had the pleasure of being his manager as he worked as a Business Intelligence Research Analyst. In this role, Ryan completed many commercialization reports involving market analysis and prior art research on new technology being developed at the University of Arizona. Not only did his reports stand out as far quality, but he always took the extra step to engage with myself and licensing managers to really dive deeply into the characteristics of the technology at hand. I was particularly impressed by Ryan's versatility and ability to critically evaluate technologies ranging from software to optics, and many things in between. Whenever a difficult technology was needing further commercialization analysis, it was an easy decision to assign it to Ryan as I knew I would get a thorough, detailed, and thoughtful report on time. While I am extremely sad to see Ryan go now that he is graduating from UA, I look forward to seeing all the great things he'll do in the future.
