• Execute or delegate work to secure timely sign off of jobs and processing of Temporary Certificates of Occupancy and Final Certificates of Occupancy.• Manage all permits, (General Construction, After Hours Variances, DOT, Fire Hydrant), for ongoing building projects with regards to Department of Buildings, Department of Transportation & Department of Environmental Protection.• Prepare schedules and reports to discuss project status with Project Team to estimate when building will be inspected or to be occupied.• Coordinate with expediter teams to ensure projects are completed in a timely fashion.• Prepare all required paperwork and filings to obtain permits to commence a new project/building in New York City.• Providing assistance to sub contractors to obtain required sign offs of job work types. (eg: plumbing, sprinkler, boiler, etc.)• Removal of Violations issued to job locations.• Review plans prepared by Professional Architects and Engineers to show compliance with Department of Buildings and Zoning Resolution codes.• Attend plan examinations with Department of Buildings examiners to obtain approvals of filed plans and applications for construction projects.• Meet with NYC Department of Buildings Staff: Inspectors, Plan Examiners, Chiefs of Plumbing/Construction/Plan Examination, Heads of Departments, Borough Managers, Project Advocates, Borough Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners to discuss and resolve any issues when they should arise.

•Review plans prepared by Professional Architect and Engineers to determine the required scope of work and filing requirements. •Generate company proposals to provide services to clients based on preliminary plans provided.•Organize the entire office’s daily calendar and delegate duties to the junior staff.•Responsible for graphical and computer-related work.

•Coordinate a team of three to ensure that projects are expedited.•Assist in Project Manager training and problem solving.•Coordination of projects assigned to team of three.

• Review plans prepared by Professional Architects and Engineers to show compliance with Department of Buildings and Zoning Resolution codes.• Prepare Applications to have the construction projects filed with the required entities (Department of Buildings, Fire Department of New York, Landmarks Preservation Commission).• Attend plan examinations with Department of Buildings examiners to obtain approvals of filed plans and applications for construction projects.
