• Assisted Dr. Bohdan Schatschneider with his research on electrochemical properties in the hopes of finding an inorganic replacement to silicon in electronics• Performed computational organic chemistry calculations through Material Studio 7.0 on electrochemical properties of molecules• Compiled molecular data into Microsoft Excel spreadsheets which were then organized into subsets to analyze• Created Microsoft Excel graphs within the subsets to recognize trends in our data• Searched through reference papers to benchmark our findings• Wrote technical documents to communicate findings to Dr. Schatschneider and his colleagues• Presented findings at two American Chemical Society undergraduate poster competitions• Trained incoming interns and worked in a team to perform tasks efficiently
