My name is Ryan Berger and I am a Civil Engineering Designer with 20+ years of experience working on civil & transportation projects throughout the Pacific Northwest, the Rocky Mountain Region and Alaska. I am skilled in Roadway design, Utility design, Erosion Control layout and Site Design, and have extensive experience in Work Zone Traffic Control, Signing, Striping, Signals and Illumination. Based on my experience, I have the capability to provide QA/QC review for plan packages and assurance of adherence to specific agency standards. I began my career as a drafter, and have the benefit of extensive experience in CAD drafting & associated softwares, with experience in multiple CAD platforms, in addition to my design skill sets. I have performed most tasks on civil engineering projects including Construction Inspection, Design, Specifications, Estimates and Plan Preparation.I have extensive experience working with Federal, State, County, and City agencies. In my 20+ years in the field, I have worked on projects for the US State Department, US Department of Energy, Bonneville Power Administration, Departments of Transportation in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Wyoming, Utah and Alaska, as well as various Cities and Counties in Oregon, Washington & Alaska. Additionally I have worked in the private utility sector, having worked for Portland General Electric.
