I've spent the majority of my career working at small companies building products from the ground up. My specific areas of expertise have mostly been related to software, acting as an engineer, architect, and mentor. Additionally, I've always had a strong passion for product development, and have adopted a more formal role in that area.At Sift, a software startup in downtown Detroit, I was one of the founding members and was the primary Engineer responsible for building our services, APIs, and infrastructure when the company began. As the company has grown, I've shifted my focus towards building the backbone of our product features and working with our talented team to scale our codebase efficiently. In my current journey at Sift, I have the pleasure of leading our product/engineering team in building tools to make the workplace more connected and collaborative!
