Effectively manage and oversee all CADD and GIS mapping for multiple fiber optic build projects throughout the country. Develop and maintain CADD standards for each project. Oversee all engineering, construction and as-built drawings. Process and database all field GPS engineering data. Responsible for updating underground network location to “Call Before you Dig” site. Work closely with program and project managers, field supervisor and technicians to assist with network design for long haul and FTTH projects. Interact with clients, government agencies and other businesses to resolve design, construction and permitting issues. Supervise 5 full time employees, and 5 contract employees. Very familiar with both underground and aerial fiber optic OSP construction and network design.

Conducted or oversaw all of the traffic engineering studies within the city, including ADT counts, speed studies, turn movement counts, signal timings, and various warrant studies. Reviewed the transportation portion of new development plans and transportation impact studies. Attend monthly MPO council and technical advisory meetings, north I-25 EIS meetings, and Citizen Transportation Advisory Board meetings. Managed all railroad and bike projects involving transportation for the City of Greeley. Maintained the city’s traffic accident database. Involved in updating the City of Greeley’s Transportation Master Plan. Managed the Neighborhood Traffic Calming program currently working with over 65 neighborhoods, multiple city departments, local school districts, and many other outside agencies. Managed several construction projects within Greeley each year. Certified TCS and reviewed traffic control plans.

Worked as an independent consultant for Qwest Communications, mapping fiber optic networks with several GIS/GPS tools. Used various programs including AutoCAD 2000, with Map and Land Development Desktop overlays, MapInfo, ArcView, Oracle database, FME universal translator, Mapguide, and standard office software programs. Developed and preformed weekly presentations to various company departments, and clients.

Assisted in developing and designing standards for local loop and long haul construction maps of fiber optic cable routes. Used different mapping software such as AutoCAD 14, and AutoCad 2000i with Map 2.0, MapInfo, ArcView, Mapguide, GDT landbase street data, and many other programs. Oversaw development of many specialized maps for multiple dark fiber customers.
