As a teacher at Council Rock School District, I apply my passion for health and physical education to inspire and educate students of various ages and abilities. I have a Master of Education in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from Emporia State University and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Penn State University. With over eight years of teaching experience, I have developed and implemented engaging and effective curricula, assessments, and activities that align with the state standards and the district's vision. I have also collaborated with other teachers, administrators, and parents to foster a positive and supportive learning environment. Some of the skills that I use in my role include Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and computer literacy. My core competencies include communication, creativity, leadership, and teamwork. My mission is to promote lifelong physical and mental wellness among my students and the community. I am always eager to learn new methods and technologies that can enhance my teaching and student outcomes.
