2019-2021 - On the Compute Platform team (previously Kubernetes), supported and augmented multiple Kubernetes production Kubernetes clusters across multiple clouds and data centers, as well as additional plugins and tooling, primarily coded in Go. Clusters scaled to over 1000 production nodes during load testing, revealing new and interesting challenges not encountered at small scale.2018-2019 - On the Product Page team, as seen on nordstrom.com, worked to migrate the supporting API from a .NET system running on AWS EC2 to a Go app running on Kubernetes.2016-2018 - Worked as a member of the new Reviews API team spinoff from the Mobile API team, using the same processes and systems, and later Kubernetes, to continue to augment the migrated microservice. The Reviews API was the first publicly accessible API deployed on Kubernetes at Nordstrom.2015-2016 - Worked as a member of the Mobile API team, making extensive use of pair programming while migrating legacy .NET monolith web services to Go microservices, utilizing AWS compute and related resources. Used Lean practices such as Kaizen, and practiced Kanban.
